Role Overview

The Sales & Service Engineer position is a unique mix of technical consulting and customer engagement. You will manage and grow relationships within a client base exceeding 1,200 industrial customers across India while identifying new opportunities in your assigned territory. This role involves improving equipment reliability and productivity through expert sealing solutions rather than just sales.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong connections with current industrial clients.
• Discover and cultivate new business prospects.
• Promote JKSEALS' mechanical seal products and reliability solutions.
• Perform technical presentations and plant visits to engage customers.
• Analyze seal failures and advise optimal sealing solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with design, production, and customer support teams to meet customer needs.
• Prepare technical quotations and follow up through order completion.
• Achieve monthly sales and business growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate CRM and digital customer activity records.
• Conduct technical training sessions for customers as required.
• Identify ongoing opportunities to reduce customer costs and improve reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Must have a Graduate degree or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years and up to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in mechanical seals or related industries.
• Demonstrates strong technical aptitude and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for selling industrial technology and solutions.
• Readiness to travel extensively across different regions in India including cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Baroda, Visakapatam, and Kolkata.
• Self-driven with a customer-centric mindset and continuous learning attitude.
• Experience with mechanical seals considered a strong advantage.
