About NOBLE

NOBLE delivers worldwide sustainment and operations support to the U.S. military and civilian government organizations, backed by a broad portfolio of mission-critical products and services.

Role Overview

This position is an opportunity to grow customer partnerships by offering practical solutions, mission-ready products, and procurement support that helps remove everyday operational obstacles for U.S. Coast Guard customers. The role focuses on managing sales opportunities, strengthening relationships with agencies and end users, and shaping regional sales activity with guidance from the Senior Director of U.S. Coast Guard Sales and Business Development.

The representative will work directly with customers on a daily basis through site visits and other communication channels, handling quote creation, price estimates, product details, demonstrations, and general inquiries. Success in this role requires strong time management, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, a polished professional presence, and a positive, proactive mindset.

Territory Focus

The assigned area includes the USCG Southwest District covering California; the USCG Northwest District covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana; the USCG Oceania District covering Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and the wider Central and Western Pacific; and the USCG Arctic District covering Alaska.

Customer Focus

The sales effort supports U.S. Coast Guard operations in these districts, with primary attention on shore-based Civil Engineering Units such as CEU Oakland, CEU Honolulu, and CEU Juneau, as well as surface units including Coast Guard stations on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work toward quarterly revenue and profit targets and deliver results against the annual goal.
  • Build and sustain relationships with customers and vendors while creating opportunities across assigned regions and, when needed, in new markets.
  • Track and present a weekly pipeline covering opportunities, quotations, and orders.
  • Work with customers to define needs for future bids and contract quotations for company-provided equipment and services.
  • Travel to client sites and attend symposiums, conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and vendor ride-alongs to develop business opportunities.
  • Collect and share market intelligence, including customer insights, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Prepare pricing, credit or contract terms, warranty details, and delivery schedules.
  • Use internal CRM and ERP tools to process quotes and orders.
  • Support inside sales with quote preparation, data entry, and identification of funding opportunities.
  • Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and interests.
  • Handle reporting, records maintenance, and expense submissions within corporate deadlines.
  • Work with customer stakeholders on product development, enhancements, modifications, or other changes that may improve performance.
  • Accurately process requests received in writing, electronically, or by phone.
  • Create marketing plans that generate new leads within the existing territory.
  • Use an inside/outside sales model to support territory planning, customer strategy, vendor relationships, and dealer-of-record coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, customers, subcontractors, vendors, business partners, and suppliers.
  • Take full ownership of the customer sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Keep a Google Calendar updated with customer calls, travel plans, and the active sales pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales representative role.
  • Solid understanding of government sales and federal contracting.
  • Background working with the Department of Defense, military organizations, federal agencies, the U.S. Coast Guard, and/or law enforcement is required.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Strong negotiation capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance if needed.

Education and Experience
