Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Sales Representative to join GSK’s Primary Care sales team. The position focuses on promoting key vaccines and respiratory brands across North Auckland and Northland. Northland is covered through a regional monthly rotation within the territory. The role is field-based, customer-facing, and suited to someone who can build strong territory performance while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of territory outcomes and drive achievement of business goals for the promoted medicines.
  • Create and implement a well-structured territory plan that supports the brand strategy and key success measures.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver strong day-to-day execution in the sales role.
  • Contribute positively to team results, engagement, and workplace culture.
  • Monitor territory results, control expenses, and share progress reports to support target achievement.
  • Follow all applicable industry standards and GSK policies related to promotion and ethical business conduct.
  • Demonstrate GSK’s values and expected behaviours in everyday work.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, science, pharmacology, or another relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 12 months of field sales experience.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals is preferred, especially in primary care or hospital environments.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills for both in-person and virtual interactions.
  • A full state driving licence and the ability to travel throughout the territory, including regional travel.
  • Proven resilience, willingness to be coached, and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to plan and deliver territory growth initiatives effectively.
  • Comfort using digital tools for virtual detailing and CRM platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capability.

Working Model

This is a field-based position that requires regular face-to-face visits with customers. Frequent regional travel across the assigned territory is part of the role.
