Role Overview
This position is suited for individuals who take ownership of their results and prioritize achieving established goals. As a Sales Officer, your primary objective will be to maximize product volume and strategic placements at points of sale within your territory. You will manage client relationships and coordinate activities aligned with company-wide business initiatives and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strive to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Regularly visit designated point-of-sale locations to confirm product availability, appropriate placement, clear pricing, and presence of promotional materials in adequate quantity and timely fashion.
- Take orders ensuring quantity and assortment contribute to optimal visibility and stock levels at point-of-sale.
- Identify and guide potential business development opportunities to expand market presence.
- Influence sales performance by effectively communicating product catalogues, optimizing placement, promoting promotions, and advocating innovative sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives in the field.
- Communicate promotional and operational activities to stores ensuring proper execution.
- Engage customers in Category Management discussions and improvement initiatives.
- Report on store activity trends and performance.
- Conduct merchandising activities in line with company guidelines.
- Monitor and report trade field activities’ performance, sales agreements, pricing trends, and key performance indicators such as POS quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Field and Regional Managers, Category Management teams, and Merchandisers.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of at least a Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Marketing.
- Minimum of two years hands-on experience in field sales.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector is advantageous.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Consistent achievement of sales targets with proven track record.
- Familiarity with commercial and office software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
