Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a field sales professional who is driven by targets and ownership of outcomes. The role focuses on growing point-of-sale volume, improving product placement, and coordinating territory activities so they align with broader company plans and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive distribution growth and strengthen in-store execution and product visibility.
- Make sure product quality is maintained at the distributor level and throughout trade channels.
- Coach, guide, and supervise the frontline sales team.
- Manage relationships with distributors and customers, including retail and wholesale accounts.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should be a graduate with 2 to 5 years of experience in FMCG, food, or beverage sales. Strong communication and people skills are important, along with at least 2 years of field sales exposure. Prior work in the FMCG sector will be an added advantage. The role also requires fluency in both English and Hindi, a strong record of meeting sales targets, and working knowledge of office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
