Sales Manager

Job Overview

We are looking to appoint a Sales Manager responsible for generating new client leads and managing customer relationships in the IT sector. The role involves engaging in outbound sales calls, understanding client IT needs, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate cold calls to potential clients to identify IT needs and build a database of customers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand and fulfill their new IT requirements.
• Obtain product pricing, source solutions, prepare quotations, and present proposals to customers.
• Identify and liaise with both local and international suppliers to check product costs and inventory status.
• Coordinate with in-house engineers to provide project-specific solutions.
• Negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers and ensure timely follow-up on orders and deliveries.
• Manage sales leads and maintain the customer database effectively.
• Assist customers with product-related questions or system issues.
• Monitor project timelines and report profit and loss figures to management.
• Work closely with the accounts department to facilitate order processing and delivery logistics.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with IT system integrators preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates with over three years of experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to meet monthly sales targets set by management.
• Highly proactive with a strong sense of initiative and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Accurate and analytical approach with a commitment to thoroughly understand customer requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet use, and English language communication.
• Educational qualification minimum of O or A levels or Diploma certificate; strong English writing skills required.
• Availability for immediate joining.
