Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our LinkedIn Sales Solutions team, supporting our continued growth and commitment to delivering value to our North American customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct leadership to a team of sales professionals, potentially encompassing both new business acquisition and existing client management.
  • Cultivate and advance talent through strategic pipelining, effective hiring, comprehensive training, consistent coaching, and the facilitation of enriching career trajectories.
  • Coach and enhance the team's capabilities in identifying customer pain points, objectives, and challenges, and in delivering solutions that drive customer growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, engaging with and building robust relationships with senior executives across our most significant clients.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the team, including coaching towards key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting weekly forecasting, and driving change management and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers to develop and implement best practices that will form the bedrock of this expanding team and propel LinkedIn's growth.
  • Nurture an inclusive and belonging environment to inspire and motivate employees on a daily basis.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years in a quota-carrying sales role.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a quota-carrying sales leadership capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A proven history of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in understanding and applying relevant sales methodologies, technologies, and metrics.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and guide others effectively.
  • Outstanding communication, client management, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively recruit and motivate experienced Account Executives/Relationship Managers.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM tools for managing sales activities.
