About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Sales Manager to lead our Fresh Produce segment in Riyadh, specializing in vegetables and fruits. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of the Saudi agricultural market and proven expertise managing sales in the fresh produce industry. This individual will ensure our company remains a leading supplier to Catering, HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes), and major Retail outlets by effectively managing both local and imported produce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies and annual plans to boost market share in Riyadh.
- Manage key accounts securing substantial annual sales contracts with hospitals, hotels, catering firms, and hypermarkets.
- Utilize comprehensive understanding of local and imported produce seasons to optimize procurement, pricing, and supply chain operations.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, enhancing route planning and tracking performance to accomplish ambitious sales goals.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse operations and fleet management to guarantee quality and timely deliveries.
Qualifications and Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive sales management experience in fresh vegetables and fruits.
- Strong network and detailed insight into the Saudi market, particularly Riyadh.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation, pricing analytics, and market forecasting.
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and proficiency in English (preferred).
- Valid Saudi Driving License; knowledge of medium/heavy vehicle logistics will be an asset.
- Valid transferable Iqama (Residency Permit).
