Role Purpose

The Sales Manager position at Brenntag KSA involves implementing the company's sales strategies within the western region's Energy, Water Treatment (WT), Agriculture, and Industrial chemical sectors. This role demands professionalism in representing the company and driving growth in sales and gross profit, while managing client relationships and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify prospective customers and business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Oversee long-term client contracts, ensuring fulfillment aligns with agreed terms and profitability requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional and global management to devise and roll out strategies aimed at accelerating regional growth.
  • Monitor supply chain processes to guarantee timely order placement and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement impactful sales plans targeting sales goals and business objectives.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations and provide expert consultations to clients.
  • Manage business development efforts by coordinating with the international sourcing team and catering to established clients.
  • Prepare precise sales proposals and quotations, maintaining accuracy in pricing and specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute sales initiatives for key partners and suppliers.
  • Provide management with systematic sales reporting and forecasts.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Target new business prospects within the upstream oil and gas industry through strategic planning and outreach.
  • Lead the customer service team, resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Support logistics in delivering products efficiently, ensuring client contentment.
  • Formulate strategic account plans for major clients in the region.
  • Comply with corporate sales policies and procedures consistently.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Petroleum or Chemical disciplines.
  • At least six years of verifiable experience in sales, account management, and sales strategy implementation within Saudi Arabia's relevant industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical understanding of oil and gas products and services.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid Saudi Arabian driving license and transferable Iqama without legal obligations.
  • Previous experience in wholesale, distribution, or chemical industries is preferred.
  • Ability to travel extensively within KSA and surrounding regions (approximately 30-40% of working time).
  • Arabic language proficiency is regarded as a beneficial asset.
