Company overview

Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to join its Stoke-On-Trent club. This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and is focused on creating an excellent experience for guests, prospects, and members while supporting sales, retention, and day-to-day club standards.

What the role involves

  • Make every interaction with prospects, members, and visitors count by using it as an opportunity to support sales and retention.
  • Actively work on membership growth through sales, renewals, upgrades, and additional spend across food and beverage, retail, and fitness products.
  • Turn enquiries into memberships by handling objections confidently, understanding customer needs, and following up effectively.
  • Help keep members engaged and retained by building relationships, spotting members who may be at risk, and suggesting suitable services or products.
  • Lead personalised gym tours that connect the member’s goals with the club’s facilities and services, while identifying opportunities to upsell.
  • Work toward and exceed both personal and club performance targets.
  • Serve as a competent key holder when needed, including support with opening, closing, and shift cover.
  • Learn and confidently use the membership software and other internal systems, with training provided.
  • Represent the brand during fitness challenges, class concepts, and the Workout Wednesday initiative to increase participation and engagement.
  • Support operational standards by helping maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and an excellent gym-floor appearance.
  • Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and other fitness-related tasks as needed, both on and off the gym floor.
  • Stay well informed about the club’s products and services.
  • Manage member questions and complaints professionally, escalating issues to a manager where appropriate.
