About the Company
The employer is an expanding foodservice and meat-supply business that works with hotels, restaurants, caterers, and other foodservice operators throughout Qatar.
About the Role
This position is for a commercially focused sales professional who will help expand the Meat Division. The role involves creating new sales opportunities, nurturing client partnerships, driving revenue growth, and handling day-to-day commercial coordination for beef, lamb, and other premium meat items.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand sales within the HoReCa segment, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering companies.
- Prospect for and secure new customers for beef, lamb, and premium meat products.
- Carry out regular client meetings, product tastings, and presentation sessions.
- Track and follow up on quotes, tenders, and other commercial submissions.
- Develop trusted relationships with executive chefs, procurement managers, and foodservice decision-makers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage commercial follow-through activities.
- Keep an eye on market developments, competitor actions, and customer needs.
- Assist leadership in spotting new product possibilities and underserved market segments.
- Contribute to the routine commercial and operational work of the Meat Division.
Mandatory Requirements
The role calls for 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in meat sales, foodservice sales, or food distribution. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of selling beef, lamb, or other premium food products directly to HoReCa clients. A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a closely related discipline is required, along with strong fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
Highly Preferred
Additional advantage will be given to candidates who understand meat cuts, grading standards, and product specifications in depth. Prior exposure to premium meat categories such as Angus, Black Angus, Wagyu, Grain-Fed, Grass-Fed, and CAB is desirable. Knowledge of food costing, yield management, portion control, and culinary needs in foodservice will be useful. Experience with meat importers, foodservice distributors, or premium meat suppliers is also preferred.
