About the Role
Daksh Building Material & Hardware is seeking a seasoned Sales Executive with comprehensive expertise in various building materials and hardware products. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of cement, TMT steel, bricks, sand, aggregate, hardware items including nuts, bolts, screws, hinges, locks, and tools, as well as paints, putty, primers, waterproofing products, plumbing supplies such as PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings, electrical materials including wires and switches, and safety products like helmets and fire extinguishers. Familiarity with current market rates, brand specifications, and customer needs is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and build relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and interior designers.
- Initiate and convert new business leads to achieve sales growth.
- Prepare accurate quotations and effectively negotiate pricing with clients.
- Maintain ongoing customer relationships to foster loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and the purchasing department to ensure smooth operations.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Submit detailed daily reports on sales activities and client visits.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in the building materials industry is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong understanding of product specifications and prevailing market prices.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel, WhatsApp, and Email.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Fixed monthly salary between 20,000 and 30,000 INR.
