About the role
This position is for a Business Development Executive / Sales Executive based in Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai. The role focuses on expanding the company’s reach in HR consulting and contract staffing, with an emphasis on bringing in new business, strengthening client partnerships, and supporting overall growth.
Role overview
The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to business expansion by identifying prospects, converting opportunities, and maintaining productive relationships with clients. The role calls for someone who can represent the company well, understand client requirements, and propose suitable HR and staffing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the HR consulting and contract staffing space.
- Create and execute approaches to win new clients and grow the customer base.
- Build strong working relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend tailored HR consulting and staffing solutions.
- Work with senior leadership to plan and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Prepare proposals, discuss commercial terms, and support closure of contracts.
- Maintain client satisfaction and look for opportunities to offer additional services.
- Monitor business development activity, performance indicators, and client feedback, then share insights with management.
- Study industry trends, market movement, and competitor actions to improve business approach.
Requirements
- Any graduate may apply.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is required; the role is suited to candidates with 1 to 3 years in business development or sales.
- Prior exposure to HR consulting, contract staffing, or EOR-related business is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, acquire clients, and meet sales targets.
- Good understanding of HR consulting services, talent management, organizational development, and staffing solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with confident presentation ability.
- Capability to build rapport with clients across different levels.
- Analytical thinking and comfort using data to guide decisions.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and the Mumbai suburbs.
- Applicants must be based in Mumbai.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, with the 3rd and 4th Saturdays off.
- Working hours: 09:30 AM to 06:30 PM.
