Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Sales Engineer position in Riyadh involves identifying and qualifying HVAC projects, preparing and presenting detailed technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs and industry norms. Key daily tasks include interpreting project specs, coordinating with engineering and installation teams, providing technical assistance in pre-sale and post-sale stages, meeting and consulting with clients, contractors, and consultants, responding to inquiries, performing site visits as required, and maintaining detailed records of opportunities, quotes, and project developments. The role also supports contract negotiations, tracks bid progress, and contributes to business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive technical and price quotations for HVAC projects.
  • Engage with clients to accurately capture their technical requirements.
  • Coordinate efforts with design and procurement teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor proposal processes through to successful deal closure.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or closely related field.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales or project pricing within the HVAC or contracting sectors.
  • Competence in cooling load calculations and drafting detailed technical and commercial proposals.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client and contractor engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC system design, installation standards, and codes.
  • Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, basic CRM or sales tracking software; familiarity with HVAC design software is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in project-based sales or contracting within the HVAC or construction industry is highly desirable.
