Sales Engineer - Critical Power and Energy Management

About the Opportunity

First Point Group is pleased to collaborate with a prominent global original equipment manufacturer focusing on critical power, energy management, and electrical infrastructure solutions. They are expanding their commercial team in the UAE with multiple vacancies for Sales Engineers supporting a variety of product lines in the critical power and electrical infrastructure sectors.

Role Overview

This role suits candidates who are passionate about blending technical knowledge with customer interaction, business growth, and relationship nurturing. The successful individual will engage closely with channel partners, consultants, contractors, and end-users to offer technical solutions and foster business expansion throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council.

• Identify and develop new sales prospects while enhancing existing client connections.
• Drive sales activities via channel partners and distributors.
• Collaborate with customers to gather technical and commercial requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare bids, quotations, and assist with commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project success.
• Spot opportunities within the critical power, energy management, and electrical infrastructure industries.
• Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and sector events.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in selling electrical infrastructure, critical power, power protection, monitoring, energy management, or similar solutions.
• Background in technical sales or sales engineering roles.
• Familiarity with working alongside channel partners and distributors.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Exposure to sectors such as data centers, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments is beneficial.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Additional language skills, especially French, are a plus but not mandatory.
