Job description
Role overview
Join a luxury beauty house dedicated to craftsmanship, joy, inclusion, and elevating the world of beauty. This position sits within the US Field Sales organization and is focused on growing business in a defined Chicago market by executing brand initiatives across open-sell retail partners such as Sephora and Ulta.
The role is centered on meeting and surpassing sales targets, strengthening CRM performance, building Dior brand advocates, and reinforcing the brand experience at store level. A consistent on-site presence at counters and in stores is essential to support client experience and drive retail results.
You will partner with multiple internal and external teams, including retailer beauty advisors, store leadership, sales, HR, merchandising, retail education, retail excellence, and retail events. The role reports to the Area Manager and oversees Market Leads, Selling Specialists, and Freelancers.
Business strategy
- Build and execute a market plan tailored to the territory to meet and exceed sales objectives, with attention to revenue, market share, rank, and penetration.
- Work with the Area Manager to interpret market trends, competition, and local business conditions, then turn those insights into action.
- Coordinate with key partners to strengthen CRM, brand presentation, assortment, inventory, and broader business goals.
- Maintain strong knowledge of retailer CRM tools and Dior.com programs to support a seamless omnichannel client journey.
- Protect brand standards and ensure full 360-degree execution of launches and visual merchandising.
- Create weekly, monthly, and annual strategies to support business priorities and events.
- Manage staffing productivity, travel and expense reconciliation, and in-store spending in line with budget requirements.
- Take ownership of profitability and ROI, with awareness of P&L impact where relevant.
People leadership and development
- Lead, coach, and inspire internal and external Brand Ambassadors while modeling Dior values and maintaining a polished, always-on-stage presence.
- Develop the skills of Freelance associates, Market Leads, Multi-Brand Beauty Consultants, and store teams to improve both individual and team productivity.
- Recruit, hire, and develop talent, with a focus on retention and succession planning for strong performers.
- Ensure Dior tools, products, services, and training initiatives are rolled out consistently and followed through properly.
- Carry out regular field visits, aligned to manager-approved cadence, to provide hands-on coaching and sales floor support.
- Use product, service, and artistry expertise to coach Brand Ambassadors through side-by-side selling and active selling-floor engagement.
- Increase productivity in specialty multi-retail environments through team engagement, operational discipline, and effective freelance leadership.
