Role overview

This is a permanent, full-time, office-based Sales Development Representative position in Birmingham city centre. The role sits with Lovey, a fast-scaling finance company focused on helping UK SMEs access funding through an online lending and brokerage platform.

About the opportunity

This role is suited to someone who wants to begin a career in sales and account management. You will join a structured training academy designed to build the skills, confidence, and commercial understanding needed to perform in a professional sales setting.

Strong performers may move into an Account Manager position within 6 to 12 months. In that next step, earnings can reach £60,000 to £80,000+ on target, with 10% uncapped commission paid monthly.

Compensation

The package includes a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per year, plus a guaranteed £400 monthly commission and a £600 quarterly performance bonus. The job listing also references a salary range of £24,500 to £30,000 per year for the SDR role.

Responsibilities

You will handle incoming loan enquiries, build new opportunities from a warm database through outbound calling, and help develop the company’s customer base. Day to day, you will be expected to work to revenue and volume targets, maintain strong prospecting activity, support cross-selling, and take part in team meetings and wider sales initiatives.
