Overview
FCM Travel Europe, a global leader in travel management, is expanding and seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its European sales team. This full-time position is based either in London’s Bankside (London Bridge) office or in Dublin, Ireland, focusing specifically on the Irish market. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, energetic environment, driven by results, and possesses strong attention to detail and a desire to exceed sales goals. This role suits a creative and client-focused professional who enjoys collaborating with sales leadership and operations teams and has excellent communication skills along with a passion for sales career growth.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with decision-makers in Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) accounts and arrange initial meetings for the sales team.
- Utilize Salesforce and outbound sales techniques to run engagement cadences targeted at prospective accounts.
- Handle inbound marketing-generated leads to convert them into sales pipeline meetings.
- Collaborate with SDRs globally to optimize pipeline development and maintain alignment on international strategies and processes.
- Employ marketing technology tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Highspot for industry research, lead generation, and prospecting.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities within Salesforce CRM.
- Provide support for industry event coordination and management.
Qualifications
- Curious mindset with a strong interest in understanding clients’ challenges and tailoring solutions.
- Proven experience in inbound and outbound sales focused on generating qualified business leads.
- Highly motivated to overcome challenges in booking meetings and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in cold calling and client engagement.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Committed to continuous learning and self-improvement in sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Collaborative nature with strong relationship-building skills towards clients and colleagues.
- Prior experience in the travel industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
