Overview
Panasonic Canada Inc. seeks a Sales Coordinator specializing in Supply and Sales Order Administration. This role handles customer sales order processing aligned with departmental plans, manages purchase plans, and delivers timely purchase, sales, and inventory reports for management approval. The coordinator resolves customer and delivery issues, supports outside sales staff daily, maintains data and vendor information, and prepares reports.
This full-time position operates on a hybrid model, with office presence based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop purchase, sales, and inventory forecasts, collaborating with marketing to create supply plans within IBP and ensuring compliance with MOQ, carton, pallet, safety stock, and SAP ATP replies.
- Analyze PSI reports to maintain product purchase levels within target days and inventory budgets; update sales forecasts accordingly.
- Prepare inquiry reports, air shipment requests, monthly PSI reports, and purchase orders; monitor backorder reports in conjunction with Marketing/Product Managers and suppliers.
- Coordinate with factories and suppliers on backorders, shipping dates, and logistics including direct, air, sea shipments, and export orders.
- Process customer, dealer, and direct orders following SOX policies; manage special pricing, delivery arrangements, backorders, and input order data into SAP.
- Allocate incoming product distribution per predetermined criteria or management guidance; address special customer requests concerning orders and delivery.
- Verify entered data through reports and resolve order discrepancies with dealers, finance, and management.
- Manage returns authorizations alongside Service Department and handle warranty product orders.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing issues including pricing errors, rebates, short shipments, freight claims; maintain account credit/debit charges and prepare credit documentation adhering to PCI policies.
- Provide inside sales support, assisting outside sales staff with account management, product availability, and SAP navigation.
- Maintain business databases related to pricing, quotations, proposals, and sales history; prepare reports as needed.
- Update and maintain Master Data including Material Master Load Sheets, price adjustments, vendor info, and stock transfers within SAP.
- Upload quarterly price master changes for PSI products.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma plus 3-4 years relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills; knowledge of SAP and IBP order/procurement systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills to recommend alternative forecasting choices.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with customers.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with factories, Customs, Transportation, Finance, and warehouse teams.
