Job Overview
This position is for a proactive Sales Coordinator to support the Government Projects function in an automobile manufacturing environment in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on tender coordination, customer communication, and end-to-end order follow-up for vehicles, components, and fleet solutions supplied to government bodies, defense organizations, municipalities, and other public-sector entities across the UAE.
You will act as a connector between sales, technical, legal, production, finance, and logistics teams to make sure all government contract requirements are met and deliveries stay on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Track government portals and e-procurement platforms for new RFQs, RFPs, and fleet-related tenders.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions, including technical compliance documents, commercial pricing, certifications, and bank guarantee paperwork.
- Work with engineering, production, and finance teams to build complete proposals and meet submission deadlines.
- Make sure all bids follow regulatory rules, localization requirements, and ministry specifications.
- Serve as a coordination point for government clients, ministries, and public-sector fleet departments.
- Assist senior team members during client meetings, technical presentations, and vehicle demonstrations.
- Respond to clarification requests and documentation queries from procurement officers.
- Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and contract drafts according to government terms.
- Monitor order progress from award stage through production, inspection, registration, and final handover.
- Maintain organized records for contracts, amendments, delivery notes, invoices, and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with warranty terms, service agreements, and ICV/localization obligations.
- Observe competitor activity, participation patterns, and pricing in government automotive tenders.
- Stay current on UAE public procurement regulations and vendor registration requirements.
- Share weekly updates on pipeline movement, bid status, and revenue projections for the government vertical.
- Coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and aftersales teams to ensure contract compliance.
- Support finance on EMD, PBG, and milestone-based invoicing.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and industry forums when needed.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in sales coordination, tendering, or handling government clients; exposure to automotive or manufacturing work is a strong advantage.
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills, including the ability to draft formal letters, bids, and ministry-facing correspondence.
- Basic knowledge of UAE government procurement processes and related documentation.
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and deadline management.
- Good command of MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word; ERP or CRM familiarity is preferred.
- High level of integrity and discretion when working with pricing and bid-related information.
- Preference for Arab candidates due to government liaison needs.
- A valid UAE driving licence is preferred for client visits and submission-related travel.
- Candidates holding their own visa or a visit visa that can be transferred are preferred.
- Awareness of automotive specifications and vendor registration on portals such as DGS, ADQ, and MOF is an advantage.
