Sales Associate

Role summary

This opportunity is for a customer-facing sales professional who can create a strong shopping experience, support revenue growth, and uphold store presentation standards. The position calls for solid product understanding, persuasive selling ability, and the skill to nurture repeat business through thoughtful customer engagement.

Reporting structure

The selected candidate will report to the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store revenue by combining effective selling techniques, detailed product knowledge, and responsive service.
• Support achievement of sales goals in both value and volume terms.
• Keep the customer experience central to every interaction and deliver attentive service throughout the sales process.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products that fit their preferences and requirements.
• Introduce customers to relevant promotions, seasonal offers, and current style trends.
• Maintain customer records and conduct regular follow-ups to strengthen long-term relationships.
• Track stock levels through counting, replenishment, and timely order placement.
• Use available shelf space effectively and help maintain smooth product availability.
• Ensure the store remains clean, hygienic, and visually appealing at all times.
• Assist with visual merchandising by keeping displays aligned with standards.
• Follow grooming, attendance, and discipline expectations consistently.
• Work toward assigned KPIs and contribute to both individual and store-wide performance targets.
• Support overall store improvement initiatives and service quality enhancements.

Skills and capabilities

The role requires strong selling ability, brand awareness, product knowledge, effective communication, customer handling, presentation skills, confidence in closing sales, patience, a positive attitude, and basic visual merchandising awareness.
