Position Overview

As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread, your expertise will lie in product freshness and delivering an exceptional customer experience within our bakery setting. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to warmly engage with customers and foster a welcoming atmosphere. No prior experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a small team to ensure top-notch customer service and build rapport with regular patrons.
• Manage product displays and implement marketing initiatives in the store.
• Support bakery cleanliness and contribute to production tasks, including learning baking techniques.

Candidate Requirements

• Commitment to delivering friendly and personable customer interactions.
• Positive, approachable demeanor coupled with reliability and self-motivation.
• A willingness to acquire new skills and work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Previous retail experience, particularly handling sales transactions (cash, credit, debit), is advantageous.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking during shifts.
• Continuous use of both hands required.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 7.5 kg; activities involving bending, turning, and reaching below shoulder level.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 22 kg, as well as pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching overhead.
