Sales and Rental Associate

Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Sales and Rental Associate for the Moncton, New Brunswick location at 245 Carson Drive. This position sits within the All Departments team and requires availability across weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Support customers with purchasing and renting musical instruments and related gear.
• Identify each customer’s needs and guide them toward the most suitable mix of products and services.
• Showcase recommended items, explaining how their features and benefits can help the customer.
• Handle incoming phone calls promptly and in a professional way.
• Track and follow up on product orders with both customers and suppliers.
• Use practical judgment to help resolve customer issues and troubleshoot concerns.
• Keep product knowledge, store policies, and procedures up to date.
• Take part in weekly team meetings and periodic training sessions.
• Help merchandise the store so it feels welcoming and appealing to shoppers.
• Contribute to store upkeep, warehouse support, and other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• You must be a musician and be able to play at least one instrument.
• You need to be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
• Strong spoken communication skills are essential.
• A positive attitude and calm, steady demeanor are important.
• You should show a strong work ethic and a consistent commitment to the role.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to stay motivated in a busy environment are required.
• You must be able to lift and carry large boxes.
• Comfort in a fast-moving retail setting is important.
• You should be able to suggest solutions confidently and assertively.
• Good organization and close attention to detail are needed.
• Prior retail or sales experience is an advantage.

This role is full-time and permanent. Work is expected across weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
