Role Overview
The Sales and Account Manager will promote and sell Langdon's complete range of pantry ingredients to business clients across New Zealand. Situated at the Ellerslie office, the role focuses on managing and growing an existing client portfolio while uncovering new business prospects in key industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing client base, securing new sales opportunities.
- Drive sales, profitability, and volume within assigned industries and major accounts throughout New Zealand through strategic relationship building and insightful market approaches.
- Identify, assess, and pursue new market segments to support company growth.
- Handle demand planning and sales forecasting to align current and emerging business opportunities.
- Deliver frequent reports featuring market trends and business intelligence.
- Receive a total compensation package that includes mobile and travel/car allowances.
- Undergo a formal performance review after 12 months.
Candidate Profile
- Proven sales and account management background in the food industry with demonstrable revenue growth achievements.
- Experienced in sourcing, negotiating, and closing new business deals effectively.
- Strong commercial insight paired with excellent client relationship management.
- Skilled in negotiation with a results-focused mindset.
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
- Competent using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
