Role overview

This Account Executive position is a quota-bearing sales role focused on helping regulated organizations improve the way they create, deliver, and manage digital content. The work spans engagement, collaboration, accessibility, compliance, and security.

You will own the full new-business sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through demos, negotiation, and closing. The role calls for a consultative approach: understanding client challenges, matching those needs to YuJa’s solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor rather than taking a transactional sales approach. Once a deal is completed, accounts are handed over to the client success team for ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
  • Run discovery discussions to learn about needs related to regulation, accessibility, and media content.
  • Present customized product demonstrations tied to customer objectives.
  • Handle negotiations and move opportunities efficiently toward close.
  • Consistently hit or surpass the assigned sales target.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings 2 to 3 years of success as an Account Executive. Experience selling SaaS solutions is beneficial. You should be comfortable working enterprise deals, managing complex buying committees, and meeting revenue goals through disciplined pipeline management and strong closing ability.

The role also calls for strong problem-solving skills, effective time management, good organization, curiosity, competitiveness, ambition, and a willingness to keep learning and progressing.

Working arrangement

This is an office-based position in North York, Ontario, Canada. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers a starting base salary of 75,000 with performance-based incentives, bringing on-target earnings to approximately 110,000 to 120,000. Benefits are comprehensive and employer-paid for health, dental, and vision coverage.
