About the Practice
This opportunity involves joining a progressive, mid-sized training medical practice currently undergoing significant development under a dedicated GP leader focused on turnaround and growth. The practice is purpose-built, located in Oxfordshire, and serves a largely stable and affluent patient population with considerable clinical diversity.
The practice employs a large multidisciplinary team including advanced nurse practitioners, paramedics, pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare assistants. There is a strong commitment to reducing administrative workload for GPs and facilitating high-quality patient care through suitable systems and innovative models.
Role Overview
- Position: Salaried GP
- Sessions available: 4 to 8, offering flexible arrangements
- Consultations: Longer than average 15-minute appointments, focused especially on complex clinical cases
- Workload: Combination of face-to-face, telephone, and triage consultations with very limited home visits
- Team Culture: Supportive with close senior GP leadership input and a buddy-supported duty system to minimize administrative burden

Candidate Profile

- Newly qualified GPs and Tier 2 Visa holders are welcome to apply
- Qualified as General Practitioner registered with GMC and on the UK performers list
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation: £10,500 to £12,000 per session depending on experience
- Indemnity fees fully covered
- Contract aligned with BMA model terms
