Safety Officer

Role Overview

Nesma United Industries is looking for a Safety Officer to support health, safety, and environmental execution across project locations in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring site-wide compliance, reducing risk, and strengthening safety culture in an oil and gas environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Make sure HSE/LPP programs are properly rolled out and followed across project sites.
• Carry out safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks on a regular basis.
• Escalate hazards, incidents, and other safety-related issues to management promptly.
• Work closely with clients and site teams to keep HSE requirements on track.
• Examine accidents or incidents and suggest suitable corrective actions.
• Deliver safety awareness sessions and support emergency response planning and coordination.
• Track correct use of PPE and other safety gear.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, logs, and reports.
• Encourage safety consciousness and ongoing improvement at the worksite.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma is required.
• Professional certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH is needed.
• Must hold an approved Saudi Aramco Contractor Safety Officer approval.
• Should have at least 3 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas sector, with a cumulative total of 5 years of working knowledge.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English is essential.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The position is focused on maintaining safe working conditions across industrial project environments.
