Role Overview
We are seeking an Injury Management Coordinator to join the Safety Department at our Brendale, Queensland location. This position is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months, covering maternity leave. The role plays a crucial part in maintaining efficient Safety Department operations with significant responsibility, autonomy, and involvement in managing various stakeholders within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work-related injury cases, including utilizing WHS IT systems effectively.
- Coordinate and provide guidance on injury management activities.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders such as injured employees, healthcare practitioners, insurers, and regulators.
- Proactively manage assigned responsibilities by identifying opportunities for system improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support the implementation of projects and maintain ongoing business operations (BAU).
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and promote best practices in injury management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in injury management.
- Good understanding of injury management principles and work health and safety legislation.
- Experience working with reporting systems and injury management claim systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland Workers' Compensation legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Solv Injury and Safety Online software is highly advantageous.

Remuneration
The salary is transparently tiered, ranging between AUD 118,200 and AUD 140,900 per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
