Role overview

We are looking for a proactive and goal-oriented SaaS Offshore Business Development Executive to help expand a software products and services portfolio. This role focuses on finding potential customers, building qualified B2B leads, connecting with decision-makers, and opening new business opportunities for SaaS offerings through structured outreach and relationship-driven selling.

The position calls for excellent communication, a consultative sales mindset, and the ability to understand customer pain points and position SaaS solutions that solve real business needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify promising prospects, key decision-makers, and potential business opportunities through research.
  • Develop qualified B2B leads for SaaS products and related IT services using outbound prospecting, cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn outreach, and similar lead generation methods.
  • Start conversations with prospects to understand requirements and assess sales opportunities.
  • Communicate the value of SaaS solutions and book meetings, discovery calls, and product demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to revenue-focused initiatives.
  • Run targeted outreach campaigns to improve customer engagement and support business growth.
  • Keep CRM records accurate for leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support business development efforts.
  • Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to improve conversion chances.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging SaaS market opportunities.

Required experience and skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability in business development, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Background in SaaS sales, B2B sales, business development, lead generation, or IT services sales.
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription products, and customer acquisition workflows.
  • Ability to develop relationships with prospects and stakeholders.
  • Comfort using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar platforms.
  • Good presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong research, prospecting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and online business research tools.

Preferred background

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in SaaS business development, software product sales, or IT services sales.
  • Experience working with international customers and global markets.
  • Exposure to APAC customers will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, and other prospecting platforms.
