About the Role
Join ASB as a Rural Corporate Account Manager based in Hamilton, Waikato, where you will engage with a diverse portfolio of Rural Corporate clients, including corporate farming operations and large-scale family businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to build trusted client relationships and deliver insightful financial solutions that support the success of ASB's rural customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of rural corporate clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with the Relationship team to structure lending solutions, prepare term sheets and documentation.
- Analyze financial information thoroughly and assist in presenting lending proposals to Rural Credit.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, agribusiness industry specialists, and professional partners.
- Identify opportunities to connect clients with the broader ASB Rural and ASB Group services to meet their evolving needs.
Candidate Profile
- Strong aptitude for interpreting financial statements and assessing risk in complex rural corporate lending scenarios.
- Preferably holds tertiary qualifications along with comprehensive knowledge of banking and the rural sector.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- High business acumen and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with leading rural and agribusiness professionals.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for Rural Banking and delivering outstanding client outcomes.
