Role overview

Big Mamma Group is hiring energetic service staff for Pamela, its new Berlin restaurant at Charlottenstraße 59, 10117 Berlin. This is a full-time, on-site position with two fixed days off each week. The role is designed as a strong entry point for people who want to build a long-term career in hospitality and front-of-house service.

As a Runner, you will work at the center of daily service, closely coordinating with kitchen and floor teams to keep service efficient, timely, and well-organized. The position offers hands-on learning in how a high-performing restaurant operates and provides a path toward progressing into a Chef de Rang role.

Key responsibilities

• Bring dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and with accuracy.
• Support the Chef de Rang during service throughout the shift.
• Make sure each plate arrives at the table at the right time and in excellent condition.
• Stay in clear contact with both kitchen and service colleagues.
• Help preserve the pace and coordination of the restaurant during busy service periods.
• Assist with table preparation and general restaurant organization.
• Keep cleanliness and service quality standards consistently high during the shift.

The ideal candidate brings a positive mindset, strong energy, and a readiness to learn. Prior hospitality experience is welcome but not mandatory. The role suits someone who enjoys busy environments, works well with others, and takes a proactive, organized approach to daily service.
