Position Overview

You will be a key contributor to upholding and exemplifying the Dorchester Collection’s culture and high service standards. Your role involves fostering meaningful connections with guests, serving as a trusted point of contact for assistance, and facilitating guest requests that extend beyond the hotel premises, including coordinating dining reservations, events, excursions, and transportation. Special occasions and unique guest wishes are addressed by the Rooms team, supported by the creative department, to ensure memorable experiences. Communication and collaboration with other hotel departments are essential for seamless operational flow.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must bring enthusiasm and a strong customer service ethic to the team. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with additional languages considered a benefit. A background of at least 2-3 years in luxury hotel Rooms departments and relevant hospitality qualifications or hotel school diplomas is required. Familiarity with systems like Microsoft Dynamics, Opera, HotSOS, and Spa Soft will aid effective functioning in this role.
