Room Service Waiter

Position Overview

The role entails delivering food and beverage services to guests with courteous, professional, and efficient conduct that aligns with Kempinski Hotels' standards and values. This position aims to boost sales while ensuring superior guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently provide polite, professional, and effective service.
• Execute all duties and tasks according to outlet requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel services and products.
• Thoroughly understand all food and beverage offerings in the assigned department.
• Present menus clearly and provide detailed information such as portion sizes, ingredients, and potential allergens as requested.
• Skillfully promote and upsell all department items and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders via POS software, order slips, or from memory.
• Communicate order specifics efficiently to kitchen personnel.
• Deliver ordered food and drinks promptly.
• Set and maintain table arrangements and keep the dining area clean and organized.
• Present bills and handle payment collection professionally.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area and surroundings at all times.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as per assigned outlet protocols.
• Respond to guest inquiries politely and efficiently, escalating complaints to supervisors when necessary.
• Promptly report guest feedback and complaints to supervisors and ensure satisfactory follow-up.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Preferably have worked in an international, luxury five-star hotel environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
