About the Role

Schulte Hospitality Group is hiring a Room Inspector to support a service-driven hospitality environment in Tallahassee, Florida. The organization focuses on authentic hospitality, respect, and putting the needs of guests and internal teams first. It is seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving hotel setting and wants to grow with a company that values its people.

This position is part of a large hospitality management group operating across many locations and working with well-known hotel brands as well as independent properties.

Key Duties

  • Plan room and cleaning assignments so coverage is properly maintained throughout the shift.
  • Check assigned suites and shared spaces to make sure furniture, equipment, linens, and other items are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Carry out housekeeping tasks as needed, including making beds, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
  • Track and refresh the status of rooms with discrepancies during the shift.
  • Spot-check assigned rooms to confirm cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Coach housekeepers when discrepancies are found and alert the Executive Housekeeper about maintenance issues when required.
  • Assign rooms to attendants at the start of the day and make sure all rooms are completed by the end of the shift.
  • Take on other related tasks as assigned.

Experience and Education

A high school education is the minimum requirement. Prior housekeeping experience of at least one year is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is 16.00 to 17.00 per hour. The position is tipped eligible.
