Role Purpose

As a Room Attendant, you are an important part of the Housekeeping team and help create a memorable stay by keeping guest rooms spotless and caring for the smallest details. The role also involves working closely with teammates and assisting guests when needed, contributing to a warm and seamless hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including changing linens, sanitising bathrooms and wiping surfaces so each room makes a strong first impression.
• Follow the property’s housekeeping standards and procedures consistently to deliver excellent results.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys clean, organised and fully stocked for the shift.
• Handle cleaning supplies safely and follow all required safety practices.
• Protect guest privacy and security while maintaining a comfortable environment.
• Flag maintenance concerns quickly to help ensure a smooth guest experience.

Experience and Skills

Prior work as a cleaner or room attendant will be viewed positively. You should communicate in a friendly, approachable way with both guests and coworkers, pay close attention to detail, manage time well, and take pride in completing physical work efficiently. The job may require moving between rooms using internal and external stairways and open walkways. A collaborative mindset is important, along with dependable transport and flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
