Room Attendant

Position Overview

This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and hotel facilities. The work requires onsite presence at the designated hotel location in Hinton, Alberta, Canada. Prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory, and no formal education or certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Dust furniture surfaces throughout guest areas.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, window draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and replace bedsheets regularly.
• Distribute clean towels and essential toiletries to guest rooms.
• Replenish supplies in the linen closet.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect elevators ensuring hygiene standards.
• Manage and report items found to the lost and found department.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or amenities.
• Provide fundamental information about hotel facilities to guests.
• Collect litter and empty trash bins throughout the premises.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings as part of routine maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness in changing rooms and showers.
• Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
