Role Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you are an important part of the housekeeping team. Your work keeps guest rooms spotless, polished, and welcoming, with careful attention to the smallest details. The role also involves working closely with teammates and assisting guests when needed. By doing your job well, you help create memorable stays built on warm hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including changing bedding, sanitising bathrooms, and wiping all surfaces to create a strong first impression.
- Follow the hotel’s housekeeping procedures and quality expectations consistently.
- Keep housekeeping carts tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
- Handle cleaning products safely and follow all required safety practices.
- Protect guest privacy and respect security standards at all times.
- Raise maintenance concerns quickly so issues can be resolved without delay.
Experience and Skills
- Prior work as a cleaner or room attendant is beneficial.
- Clear, friendly communication style.
- Strong attention to detail and good time management.
- Comfort with physically active work, including moving between rooms via internal and external stairs and open walkways.
- Ability to work well with colleagues from different backgrounds.
- Dependable transport and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
