Room Attendant / Housekeeper

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms hygiene by cleaning, making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and conducting deep cleaning tasks when necessary.
• Restock linens, towels, and essential amenities for guest use.
• Organize and manage housekeeping supplies and transport the cleaning cart effectively throughout shifts.
• Respond promptly and politely to guest requests to enhance their satisfaction.
• Handle disposal of trash and recyclable materials responsibly in designated collection areas.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in housekeeping or a room attendant role, preferably within hospitality settings.
• Demonstrated capability to uphold high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Physical endurance to carry out tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills displaying courtesy and professionalism with guests.
• Effective time management skills to complete duties within allocated timeframes.
• A collaborative approach to work well with housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English language proficiency; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Understanding of cleaning agents, chemicals, and safety protocols.
