Job Overview
Join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island as a Room Attendant, where you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms while providing excellent hospitality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces, adhering strictly to Hilton’s housekeeping standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, comprehensive cleaning, and turndown service when required.
- Restock linen, towels, guest amenities, and room supplies consistently to meet established guidelines.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of housekeeping trolleys, supply carts, and linen rooms, ensuring they are fully stocked.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service by responding to guest inquiries and safeguarding their privacy.
- Handle waste and recycling by disposing of items properly in designated locations, ensuring the highest cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance concerns, damages, or shortages related to linens or items to the correct department immediately.
- Securely manage master keys and strictly follow hotel policies, lost and found protocols, and Hilton operational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to support seamless operations.
- Undertake any further reasonable tasks as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior training in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in housekeeping, ideally within an international hotel setting.
- Solid understanding of housekeeping procedures, guest room cleanliness standards, and safe chemical handling techniques.
- Basic proficiency in English and a positive, guest-focused attitude to ensure outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled.
