About the Role

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is hiring a Room Attendant for its Housekeeping team. The role focuses on keeping assigned guest rooms clean, orderly, and aligned with the brand’s high standards for hygiene, presentation, and service quality.

The property is an elegant urban retreat in Msheireb Downtown Doha, close to Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the West Bay business district. What You’ll Do

  • Clean and service occupied and vacant rooms according to the standards taught during training.
  • Remove used towels and linens and pass them to the relevant team or place them in the linen chute.
  • Deep-clean guest bathrooms, including walls, tubs, showers, and toilets, using the appropriate cleaning products, then dry all surfaces thoroughly.
  • Neatly arrange toiletries in occupied rooms on a cloth as per standards.
  • Restock guest amenities and terry items.
  • Make beds efficiently and in line with the required presentation standard.
  • Fold and place guest clothing neatly in occupied rooms as required.
  • Maintain guest rooms and bathrooms, including mirrors and interior windows.
  • Clear room service trays from corridors and guestroom hallways and send them to the back area for collection.
  • Vacuum carpets and dust furniture and baseboards across assigned areas.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping exposure in a luxury hotel setting and is comfortable working in a standards-driven environment. Knowledge of housekeeping practices, cleaning chemicals, linen handling, and cleaning equipment will be an advantage.

Minimum Requirements

  • Senior School qualification or an equivalent certificate is required.
  • A Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Management is an added advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a 5-star hotel environment is required.
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience is required.

This is a full-time, onsite position reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The role is based in Doha, Qatar. No salary, vacancy count, start date, or application deadline was specified.
