Join the Housekeeping team at Malmaison in York where you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest bedrooms daily, ensuring the highest standards to meet guests' expectations for a perfect stay. Role Details
As a Room Attendant, you will often work independently while delivering spotless rooms to enhance guest satisfaction. Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests. Your typical shifts are set mainly between 9am and 3pm for five days each week, with flexible start times between 9am and 10am available. Early starts, flexible schedules, or weekend-only work options may be discussed during interviews.
Requirements and Training
The role can be physically demanding and requires a certain fitness level to fulfill all responsibilities. Comprehensive training covering chemical and equipment use will be provided. While previous experience in similar roles is not mandatory, a positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the hotel's success are critical.
Career Development
We actively promote internal growth and aim to enroll 100 new apprentices by year-end. After the probationary period, you may be eligible to join our apprenticeship program.
