Role Purpose

As a Room Attendant, you are an important part of the Housekeeping team. Your work helps create an outstanding guest experience by ensuring rooms are spotless, attention is given to every detail, and guests feel well cared for throughout their stay. The role also involves supporting teammates and assisting guests when needed so that each visitor leaves with a positive memory of genuine hospitality.

Key Duties

• Clean guest rooms to a high standard, including making beds, refreshing linens, scrubbing bathrooms, and wiping down all surfaces to create a strong first impression.
• Follow the hotel’s housekeeping procedures and quality expectations consistently.
• Keep housekeeping carts tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
• Handle cleaning products safely and follow all required safety practices.
• Protect guest privacy and support the security of the rooms you service.
• Flag maintenance concerns quickly to help maintain a smooth guest experience.

Experience and Job Fit

Applicants with prior experience in cleaning or room attendant work will have an advantage. You should communicate in a friendly, professional manner that makes both guests and colleagues feel comfortable. A sharp eye for detail, strong time management, and pride in doing thorough work are important. Because the job is physically active, you should be comfortable moving between rooms using internal and external stairways and open walkways. The role also suits someone who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds.
