Role Overview

In this housekeeping role, you help create a spotless, welcoming environment for every guest. Your work is not limited to cleaning; it also involves supporting the team, interacting helpfully with guests when needed, and contributing to memorable stays through attentive service and care.

Key Duties

• Clean guest rooms from top to bottom, including linen changes, bathroom cleaning, and wiping all surfaces to create an excellent first impression.
• Follow the hotel’s housekeeping standards and procedures to deliver consistently high-quality results.
• Keep housekeeping carts tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
• Handle cleaning products safely and follow all required safety practices.
• Protect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Escalate maintenance concerns promptly so issues can be resolved quickly.

Experience and Skills Needed

• Prior work as a cleaner or room attendant is advantageous.
• You should communicate in a friendly, approachable manner that puts guests and colleagues at ease.
• A strong eye for detail, good time management, and pride in completing work to a high standard are important.
• This is a hands-on position, so comfort with a physically active role is required; movement between rooms may involve internal and external stairs and open walkways.
• You should enjoy working closely with people from different backgrounds.
• Reliable transport is needed, along with flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
