Role overview

Cowra Council is looking for experienced Roads Attendants to join its Roads Maintenance team in Cowra, New South Wales. The role focuses on hands-on labouring work that supports the upkeep and improvement of local road infrastructure.

Employment details

This is a permanent, full-time position. The pay rate is $1,009.60 per week, along with 12% superannuation. The regular schedule is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with summer hours of 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The role is based on a 38-hour week and includes one rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight. Applications will close once the available positions are filled.

What the role involves

In this position, you will carry out a variety of labouring tasks within road maintenance, including traffic management, formwork setup, kerb and gutter work, footpath paving, site preparation, roadworks, and the use of small plant and equipment.

Candidate profile

Applicants should have prior experience in comparable labouring or road maintenance duties. A current driver licence and white card are required, and an MR licence plus traffic control tickets will be viewed favourably.

Pre-employment checks
