About the project
Clough, working in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction package for the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities upgrade in Henderson, Western Australia. The work focuses on improving the sludge treatment process so biosolids can be recovered for agricultural use as a soil conditioner, while biogas produced during treatment can be used as an energy source.
The project team is currently hiring Advanced Riggers who can start straight away.

Role overview
In this position, you will carry out rigging activities to support lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment on site. You will also assess loads, choose suitable rigging methods, and work in line with lift plans and site procedures.
Key duties
- Set up and use rigging gear including chain blocks, slings, pulleys, and winches to lift, lower, shift, or position machinery, spools, structural steel, and other heavy items.
- Evaluate the item to be moved, determine its approximate size, shape, and weight, and select the right rigging setup for safe lifting.
- Carry out inspections and basic upkeep of rigging equipment.
- Follow lift plans and relevant procedures accurately.
Required qualifications and licences
Applicants should hold the following:
- High Risk Work Licence for RB, RI, or RA.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Construction White Card or Blue Card.
- Current Australian C-class driver’s licence.
Preferred, but not essential:
- Current Australian MR/HR class driver’s licence.
- High Risk Work Licence for Forklift.
