Mistral AI develops advanced artificial intelligence solutions for public and private sector clients worldwide. The company is growing quickly across the MEA region, including the UAE, Morocco, KSA, and wider Gulf markets, and is building its team to support a rising number of opportunities.
Role Overview
The RFP & Bid Manager will be responsible for handling complex RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes from start to finish. The position is central to producing strong, compliant, and persuasive proposals that help secure large-value contracts and support the company’s expansion in AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, making sure submissions are delivered accurately and on time.
- Bring together inputs from sales, product, engineering, legal, security, and delivery teams to build clear and client-focused proposals.
- Verify that every response matches client expectations, required formats, and deadlines, with no compliance issues left unresolved.
- Create and maintain a reusable content repository covering AI capabilities, technical design, security, and compliance material.
- Work with go-to-market leaders to shape AI solutions that fit client requirements and pricing approaches.
- Support the preparation of statements of work, delivery plans, resource assumptions, cost models, and commercial structures.
- Serve as the main coordination point between sales, product, research, legal and compliance, and delivery or professional services teams.
- Ensure proposal messaging aligns with product capabilities, roadmap direction, and client needs.
Candidate Profile
This role suits someone with a strong background in bid or proposal management, ideally in AI, technology, or public-sector settings. Experience handling RFPs in the Middle East, as well as exposure to European public-sector processes such as EU institutions or national governments, is considered an advantage.
The right candidate should be highly organized, comfortable managing several deadlines at once, and able to keep documentation precise and complete. Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills are important, along with the ability to turn technical and commercial requirements into convincing proposals. The role also calls for someone adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience with public-sector tendering, especially in the MEA region, is a plus.
- Prior exposure to AI, cloud services, or enterprise software is advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills are expected; knowledge of Arabic or French would be beneficial.
