Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Revit Draftsperson to join our Engineering team permanently at our Sydney head office. This role involves collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and sales personnel to generate precise technical documentation and BIM content applicable to various façade access and height safety projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop approval, fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings following corporate drafting procedures.
- Update documentation and drawings to accommodate design modifications, compliance standards, and construction changes.
- Interpret customer blueprints, specifications, the National Construction Code, and Australian Standards for accurate and compliant designs.
- Maintain and develop AutoCAD and Revit libraries, including parametric families and BIM assets.
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, project teams, and clients across the design and documentation phases.
- Produce supplementary project documentation utilizing Microsoft Office tools.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects ensuring timely quality deliverables.
- Support the formulation of product specifications, standard details, and installation instructions.
- Drive continuous enhancement of drafting standards, BIM content, systems, and workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.
- Minimum three years’ professional experience in Revit drafting or a comparable role.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or closely related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of BIM processes and Revit family creation.
- Ability to analyze architectural and engineering drawings, detailed specifications, and compliance standards.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information
The role is full-time and onsite at the Sydney head office, offering a competitive annual salary package between $70,000 and $80,000 plus superannuation, subject to experience.
