Role overview
This role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and predicting the movement of funds within a government organization. The specialist helps strengthen financial sustainability by building reliable forecasting models, managing the revenue cycle, and improving collection performance so returns remain steady over time.
Key responsibilities
- Track revenue lines regularly, study their performance patterns, and review collection results on a recurring basis.
- Set up and assess annual revenue goals, support progress measurement, and monitor how closely targets are being achieved.
- Draft periodic revenue dashboards and reports, spot gaps and performance issues, work with the relevant teams to resolve collection blockers, and improve overall efficiency.
- Match and verify revenue and financial records, confirm that classifications and journal entries are correct, and review tax filings and related items.
- Help identify process improvements and revenue-related product enhancements that can support stronger and more sustainable income growth.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s qualification in a related discipline.
- Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
- Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to handle pressure and organize time efficiently.
- Prior exposure to revenue management or revenue analysis is an advantage.
