About the Role
This position sits within Marina Bay Sands and supports the hotel’s distribution and channel operations. It is suited to someone who enjoys working with hotel systems, managing online availability and content, and helping ensure that rates, inventory, and promotions are accurately reflected across all connected platforms.
Channel & System Management
- Keep daily room rates and availability up to date across all distribution channels.
- Oversee connected systems to make sure they operate smoothly, including reservation links and the setup and maintenance of group blocks.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across PMS, CRS, channel manager tools, OTAs, GDS, and other distribution systems.
Content & Offer Management
- Refresh hotel content on OTAs, GDS, and other third-party portals so that descriptions, images, amenities, and policies remain accurate.
- Create and load offers, promotions, and packages into the appropriate systems, coordinating with internal teams to support a successful launch.
- Share promotion details with the relevant departments so that everyone involved understands the campaign and can execute it properly.
Performance Monitoring, Auditing & Quality Assurance
- Review PMS, CRS, and third-party platforms regularly to confirm that rates, availability, and content follow contracted terms, agreements, and promotional rules.
- Track channel performance, rate parity, and any system mismatches, then escalate and resolve issues where needed.
Operational Support & Issue Resolution
- Support the resolution of hotel-related issues within channel management systems and work with system vendors when required.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to roll out distribution initiatives, including new promotions and platform improvements.
General
- Handle other duties, tasks, and projects assigned by the department.
- Be available to provide support on weekdays and weekends depending on operational and business requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, tourism, or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant hotel experience in front office, reservations, revenue, or operations.
- Hands-on familiarity with Oracle Opera PMS, including the ability to work with reservations, rates, inventory, and group blocks.
- Strong interest in hotel systems and distribution technology.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and confidence using digital tools.
- Exposure to Tableau or Power BI will be considered an advantage.
