Role overview
Fraser Coast Regional Council is hiring a permanent full-time Revenue Officer for its Financial Services team based in Maryborough, Queensland. This position sits within Stream A Level 2–3 (competency based) and offers a salary range of $76,629 to $83,245 plus superannuation. The role includes a 9-day fortnight.
About the opportunity
The successful applicant will become part of the Revenue and Property Rating team, supporting the administration and day-to-day management of council revenue processes. The position calls for someone who can help maintain accurate records, deliver responsive service, and contribute to the smooth handling of rating and property information.
Key responsibilities
- Keep rating records and property information up to date, accurate, and compliant with requirements.
- Research and assess newly created property and land records.
- Update records for changes in property ownership or mailing address details.
- Respond to rating enquiries from members of the public in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with on-site commercial property inspections when needed.
